In Togo, Alliance Nationale des Consommateurs et de l'Environnement (ANCE-Togo) contributes to limiting the spread of COVID 19 based on a community strategy aimed at respecting barrier measures and strengthening tobacco control. It is engaged in a campaign to:

• inform and sensitize citizens on barrier measures by identifying and countering misinformation from the tobacco industry
• Advocate for the strengthening of the legal framework for tobacco control in Togo.

ANCE is also producing face masks that are distributed during sensitization sessions in regions. The masks carry a message to warn about the dangers of smoking, and barrier measures against COVID -19.
