Drug Fight Malawi is undertaking surveillance activities against attempts by the tobacco industry to exploit the Covid-19 health crisis in its favour.

It is engaged in:

• holding consultation meetings with government officials on the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control
• organizing press conferences
• monitoring tobacco industry publications for advertisements.
